About Me

Amy Hansen Harding grew up in the middle of a great big family with a book in her hand and a love for the power of sharing stories. With a B.A. in English and a professional certification in Writing for Children, she now creates stories celebrating the value and empowerment of the individual.  As a military spouse and mother of seven, Amy has made her home in every corner (and even an island) of the U.S. and had more adventures than she has had time to write about. She has fallen in love with all kinds of people, all kinds of places, and all kinds of stories, especially ones that make her laugh or cry or both. She currently calls the Olympic Peninsula of Washington her home, where she loves hiking, kayaking, and cozy nights by the fireplace.

Fun fact: Amy has adventured through twelve cross-country road trips. Since her travels have only included 48 of the 50 states, her apologies go out to Maine, and Alaska….she will get there eventually.
